Rino originally came from Indonesia and has been living in Australia for more than 19 years. She grew up in Jakarta and studied economics for 2 years before deciding to drop everything to pursue her interest in art.
She went to Singapore to undertake English course for a year and continued her studies in Fine Art in LaSalle-SIA College of the Arts, majoring in Ceramics which then she came to Australia to do her Glass Studies at Monash University.
After graduating from Monash University she had an opportunity to work as an Indonesian art/culture teacher with a Melbourne-based company, running Indonesian art/culture workshops with children/adults as part of their Indonesian/Art studies.
Rino's next move was to Tasmania where she is now creating pieces in glass, ceramics, painting and also gives lessons in glass bead making.
